When?

The CBSE Class 12th result 2020 will be declared in the first week of May.

How?

Candidates need to enter their admit card number, roll no, school center number along with their date of birth to access their results.

Candidates can check their results on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the first week of May 2020. The CBSE 12th result will comprise subject-wise marks of the students as well as the pass/fail status. Results provided online will be provisional, so the students need to collect their mark sheet from their respective schools a few weeks after the declaration of the result. The CBSE Class 12th board exams 2020 will start from February 27, 2020. The practical examinations will commence from January 1 and continue until February 7, 2020.

How to Check CBSE 12th Results 2020 Online

  • Step 1: Visit any of the websites – www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in & results.gov.in.

  • Step 2: Enter CBSE roll number, school number, centre number and admit card ID.’

  • Step 3: Click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • Step 4 : View CBSE 12th Result 2020.

  • Step 5: Download and take a clear print of the CBSE Class 12 result.

How to Check CBSE 12th Results on Google

In 2018, CBSE had partnered with Google and students could view their CBSE 12th result by simply conducting a Google search. Steps that candidates had to follow in order to check their result for Class 12 board exams on Google are as mentioned below:

Open the Google/Chrome tab on your phone or desktop

Type ‘CBSE 12 Result 2020’ in the search box and click on the Search button

Visit any of the websites – www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in & results.gov.in.

Enter CBSE roll number, school number, center number and admit card ID

Click on the “Check Exam Results” button

CBSE Class 12 Board Exams Passing Criteria

Students would be considered to have cleared the CBSE board exams if they fulfill the following criteria:

He/she should secure a grade higher than ‘E’ (that is, at least 33% marks) in all the five subjects of external exams in the main (or compartmental exams)

For practical work-related subjects, candidates should secure 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in practical. Apart from this, aspirants should have secured at least 33% marks in aggregate

Aspirants would be given a pass certificate by the Board if they get a grade above ‘E’ in all subjects of internal assessment (unless he/she is exempted).

CBSE Compartment exams 2020/ Re-evaluation

If a student is unsatisfied with the results, they can raise a request for re-evaluation. The re-checking results will be made available online in June 2020. If a student fails in a subject, they can appear for the compartment exams for Class 12. The CBSE Compartment exams 2020 will be held in July. The results for the same will be announced in the first week of August 2020.
